Who is this for?

Discovery flights are designed for individuals interested in learning to fly and exploring flight training. While you'll enjoy approximately 30 minutes of flight time and have the opportunity to take the controls, this experience is intended as an introduction to becoming a pilot rather than a sightseeing or air-tour flight.

The 1-hour experience includes:

• Meeting and spending time with an instructor to learn the basics and discover the path to becoming a pilot

• Learning the steps to prepare for a safe flight

• An introduction to the aircraft, the controls and systems

• Climb in and prepare for takeoff!

• 30 minutes in the air over mid-Michigan, where, after an introduction, you take the controls!

• Post-flight discussion and answers to your pilot-related questions
